In this tutorial, we’ll be looking at the Donations gadget. The Donations gadget allows your supporters to log in to your Hub and manage their single and recurring gifts. You are also able to offer the supporter the ability to upgrade their donation to your organization.
The Donations gadget has a number of states, depending on the status of the supporter. You can choose to include any or all of the states in the Donations gadget.
As this gadget is quite complex we’ve created a series of short videos below to guide you through setting up and managing each area of the Donations gadget.

No Donation State
If the supporter has not made a donation yet, you can define how the Donations gadget functions in your Hub in this state.

Offer Recurring Upsell
If a supporter has an active recurring gift the Offer Recurring Upsell function allows you to offer supporters the option to upgrade their donation to your organization.

Previewing & Testing The Donations Gadget
Once you have completed the setup of your Donations gadget it’s a good idea to preview and test it in your Hub to make sure it functions as expected.

The transaction data for changes made via the hub will appear in the transaction history of the supporter record. Here is the data you will see in the transaction export:
Campaign Status: change [ amount: xx ]
Campaign Data 21: change [ amount: xx ]

If using ROI Solutions and looking to take advantage of enabling supporters to make updates to their active recurring gifts, please contact the ROI team to access the necessary credentials and details to activate the ROI gadget for the Supporter Hub.
Once you have the credentials, required, you will need to enter them through the Extensions Manager in your Account Settings.
