You can use animated gifs in your page-builder pages and campaign emails. You will need to create these outside of the system and upload just like any other image into your Engaging Networks library. Insert them just like any other image – in an image block, or within a text block by clicking the image button in the toolbar.
A few notes:
- Animated gifs cannot be bigger than 500k
- If you resize or edit the image when uploaded, it will lose its animation.
- Uncheck the “Automatically optimize images to reduce file size” option when uploading
- Outlook 2007 cannot display animated gifs in emails – it will show the first frame
