Adding emojis to email subjects

Adding emjois to email subjects can make your emails stand out in supporters’ inboxes (if used sparingly!).

Should you wish to add emojis into your email campaign subjects, the easiest way is to copy them from an online library and paste them into the Engaging Networks email subject.

For example, go to something like emojipedia.org and simply copy and paste the emoji into the subject field.

We would recommend testing how this looks in different email clients to ensure they are rendered as you expect – different clients have their own emoji libraries (and some characters might not be supported) so it will look slightly different depending on where the email is viewed. You may also want to try a split text email campaign with and without an emoji to see how it affects open rates and conversions.

Enjoy ?
